Deployment Options:
InterSOC™ has several options to enable organizations to develop an advanced security posture over time. Three models of adoption are available to allow most any organization to achieve the benefits of advanced security management.
Enterprise Deployment
Deploy as an internal Enterprise solution on internal servers. This provides maximum flexibility once the security environment is established without the need to outsource to external managment. Additional support is available for Assisted Incident Response, Security Training, and Consulting on-demand.
Software As a Service (SaaS)
Based on the tightly managed budget setting criteria used by many organizations, certain security initiatives can only be accounted for as an out of budget expense and then only on a case-by-case basis. Because of this, the required security initiative(s) may be difficult to adopt because of the various All-or-Nothing solutions that exist in today’s marketplace. Additionally the architecture of a given solution may prohibit its ability to support an organizational requirement or desire for a SaaS type service offering, thus limiting the deployment options for that specific product.
The InterSOC™ ESM SaaS offering allows an organization (domestic and/or international) to gain the full benefit of the holistic security information and event management solution without the initial and ongoing costs of internal management systems, formal training requirements and internally housed technical support, thereby reducing the company’s overall capital expense. The InterSOC™ ESM SaaS offering also eliminates the need for internal company resources typically used for monitoring and management of the product, thus enabling these precious resources to be focused on additional security management tasks rather than managing of a point solution.
The InterSOC™ ESM SaaS solution is fully designed, deployed, integrated and managed by the InterSOC™ Security Operations Center (SOC) team. The SOC team will gather all the necessary information regarding your environment and business needs, and will translate those requirements into a configured, deployed and 24x7x365 managed information security and event management solution. All configurations, reporting and alerting activities will be responded to by the SOC team. Daily, weekly and monthly type reports can be automatically created and delivered to company personnel as so required. Product updates, configuration changes and component add-ons are also easily enabled by the SOC team based on your ever evolving business environment.
The InterSOC™ ESM SaaS offering can be easily converted to the internally supported Enterprise solution for private ownership at a later date as driven by the business requirements. InterSOC™ SOC assisted incident response, security event support, and formalized product training requirements can be provided as deemed appropriate by the organization.

SaaS with Co-Managed Security Services
The InterSOC™ ESM Co-Managed offering provides the customer to have a hands-on approach to the day-to-day interaction with InterSOC™ ESM, yet also provides the safety net of having the InterSOC™ SOC team also actively managing and supporting the solution at the same time. This “co-managed” approach allows customer personnel to gradually become familiar and competent with the InterSOC™ ESM solution over the course of time as opposed to immediately once the initial design and deployment phases have been completed.
The InterSOC™ ESM Co-Managed offering includes the same functionality and features as our InterSOC™ ESM SaaS service offering, with the main differentiator being that the customer has a management console installed at their premise(s) as well as at the InterSOC™ SOC. The InterSOC™ ESM Co-Managed offering provides additional functionality for the customer to actively be engaged in the day-to-day management and operation of their ESM solution. Whereas the SaaS offering is 100% actively managed and supported by the InterSOC™ SOC team, the Co-Managed offering is a combination of customer personnel as well as the InterSOC™ SOC team working in tandem to address the potentially rapidly changing business landscape as needed.
Because the customer personnel aren’t fully and solely responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of the InterSOC™ ESM solution, they are still able to focus on other business requirements as so dictated by the organization. Likewise, the co-managed solution is usually still treated as a budgetary expense item vs. a budgetary capital expense, then enabling the company to achieve their security initiatives without the risk of not being able to address security threats to the business.
As with the InterSOC™ ESM SaaS offering, the InterSOC™ ESM Co-Managed offering can be easily converted to the internally supported Enterprise solution for private ownership at a later date as driven by the business requirements.
